4 Delicious Artichoke Recipes

Fried artichoke

The first of the delicious artichoke recipes that we want to share with you, is fried artichoke. Begin by washing the artichokes. In order to do this, remove the outer layers until only the heart remains. A trick to stop you from removing more layers than is necessary, is to stop removing them once they start to have a lighter color. Then, peel the trunks and cut the artichokes in half.

Quickly, before the artichokes become oxidized, place them in a saucepan with boiling water. Add a pinch of salt and the juice of half a lemon. Cook the artichokes for 20 minutes. Then, leave them to drain until they are completely dry.

Then, heat a pan with plenty of oil. You can also do this in a fryer. Fry the artichokes until they are golden, and then remove them from the pan. If you put them on a plate, on top of a paper towel, the excess oil is soaked up.

The recipe for fried artichoke is quite high in calories. That is why it is not recommended that you eat it in large quantities. These fried artichokes are perfect for topping off a lovely cream or puree, or as a tapas dish. You can also eat it as a side to a plate of meat or fish.

Instructions:

Start by cooking the pasta with enough boiling water. If you add a little oil to the water, the pasta will not stick and will be looser. While the pasta is being cooked, sauté the artichokes so that they will be freshly cooked when the pasta is ready.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the artichokes. Add a little more olive oil, salt, and a little cayenne. Cook for several minutes. Finally, add the cooked shrimp and the grated cheese. You can bake it a little in the oven so that it gets a nice golden brown color.

This is a different way of eating pasta, which you might typically eat with tomato, tuna, and onion. Go ahead and try to change up your usual recipes. In addition, this preparation is very healthy and very low in calories. If you want to make a light version of this dish, choose a low-fat cheese.

Instructions:

To start, wash and boil the artichokes in the same way as you did with the previous recipe. While the artichokes are cooking, heat a pan with oil and poach the onion. When the onion begins to brown, add the chunks of ham.

Add a little more oil if necessary, as well as a pinch of salt. Cook for five minutes and it should be ready. This is how easily you can make this healthy, delicious recipe for lunch or dinner.
